Canada’s homegrown Chef Corbin Tomaszeski believes food should do one of two things: create memorable experiences or remind oneself of an unforgettable time. Chef Corbin is not only passionate about food and the experiences surrounding it but his passion runs deep for his family and tight knit circle of friends. His daily ritual is to have fun while teaching the food service teams he works with to be the best they can be in and around the kitchen. If you are lucky enough to be apart of his friends or team he will be pushing you to be better but ranting about how great you are to anyone who will listen. His passion, drive and creativity have been apart of his popularity on Dinner Party Wars, Restaurant Makeover, Crash My Kitchen and the new hit show Restaurant Takeover on Food Network Canada.

Raised on a farm in a rural community outside of Edmonton, Alberta this talented chef was born to create and to cook. Born into a large family with six kids, preparing meals was not an option for him and his siblings. Corbin watched with wide eyes as his mother and grandmother made heartwarming dishes that brought the whole family together. With the early privileges of growing his own produce to catching his own chickens it is no surprise that his appreciation for fresh flavourful ingredients runs deep.

His large fan base has not only expanded to aspiring chefs and adoring foodies over the years but woman and men who appreciate his honesty and quick wit on shows such as Dinner Party Wars and Restaurant Takeover, where Corbin tests and challenges couples and restaurant owners. Always ready to applaud a delicious meal, Chef Corbin is known for his ability to rebuild lackluster menus with his signature flair and attention to detail.

A natural born storyteller Corbin’s philosophy is that great food is a means to an end and has the ability to connect us in our day-to-day lives. As a credited Executive Chef with a reputation for creating successful destination eateries he is known to right culinary wrongs with a charming honesty that audiences adore.

Chef Corbin is currently working on many exciting projects including the opening of 3 new restaurants, the creation of a cookbook, filming new episodes of Restaurant Takeover, appearing regularly on various morning and daytime television shows and continues to tour the country for events and appearances. Corbin also makes time to have a strong involvement in his community and different charity organizations. Even with a busy schedule, Corbin is a family man at heart whose roots and passions run deep in everything he does and takes on in his life.
